Stock Market And More

Many have more than likely noticed many discreet changes throughout the game this week. In an ongoing effort to manage the game economy some changes to creature credit output were made. The platinum shop was closed for the time being as well. The mines are still a good place to get platinum. We will be looking at tweaking the cost for additional mines as players level. Additionally a gold and silver cost was added to the credit cost of buying tools to repair your mines. The Welcome Page of the game has been changed to help make the information easier to read. As well a new section called Important Tasks has been added that will serve as a way to remind current players and help show new players important things that should be viewed. For example...If you have not used your AP then you'll see an alert to do so that will take you directly to the AP distribution page. Feel free to make suggestions on ways this could be used. We've reopened the Stock Exchange with some new changes that were made to enhance the page as well as some limits to help keep it in check. You can now only own 25,000 shares of each stock and can only sell a total of 10,000 shares per day. As well the credit % was dropped from 10% to 3% and a 100 gold and silver cost was added for the transaction fee. Many new features show how much you have made along with past stock rates. To stop any problems before they got started a reCAPTCHA was added to the sell area, so no automated selling of stocks occur. Mail System Upgrade

Today we've implemented the new formatting system into mails. The will enable players to include links, images, colors, and smileys into their personal mails. Note that this will break the formatting of older mails as it was using much older code that what is currently in place. We also added several smileys that were in place in the the old CM External Forum. These will be present in all areas that use the new format system. Last, but certainly not least. If you have been following the Twitter Feed, which you should be. You noticed that we recently increased the amount of mails you can send per day from 20 for players and 40 for VIP players to 250 for players and 500 for VIP players. This has been asked for and we are happy to allow the players of Melania to converse more! More to come! Happy Easter and Bookmarking Feature

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter. Easter themed gift items are now in the Gift Store.

Several small tweaks have been made and can be viewed via our Twitter feed. Follow us via Twitter to stay updated on the smallest changes that happen outside these update announcements. We added a few new smileys to all the new formatting areas of the game. More to come on this.

I have seen the progress on the new login page for the game and I must say it looks very good. I'm excited to roll this out as my designer is putting on the final touches.

A new Bookmark feature has been implemented into the game. All players can bookmark up to 30 links. However, only the top 15 links are displayed unless you are a VIP Member. Then all 30 will be displayed. Additionally, VIP members can change the color or their links. The links are broken into groups of five.

On the Action Bar under Navigation you'll see a Bookmark and Manage links. Bookmark will add a link based off the page you are currently viewing as long as you have not reached your max allowed. Note that the link name will default to the Page Title you are viewing. You can later change this.

Manage allows you to delete, change color, rank, and link name.

A Bookmark link has also been placed at the top of the "No Side Layout" found in various areas of the game.

I hope you enjoy this feature and will continue to fix any bugs related to the layout change. I'm aware of the issue of the action box in IE and am currently working on it.
