Hi Devalgan,
I really believe that wandering through the map is what diferences SV1 from SV2 .. please dont change that!
At the same time nobody is really playing the game as it stands.
What I can say is that I will give the map system a chance. I’ll will make all the cosmetic and functionality changes and will invest some advertising for Twilight Nights only. Then I’ll see how the activity levels go.
Wandering the map is what makes this server unique and the reason we use the teleports. Changing the attack system will make teleports usesless
I know it has allways been the main reason for S1 players to leave this server again because many find it too much work to look for targets but it made it a diff game and I allways loved the chase when hunting down onliners
The problems for most players here are:
1. Its real hard to make credits (well lets say prices are too high lol)
because the market never came close to the activity it has on S1
2. some would rather level down then up because the high levels mainly die from boredom when they lose their targets.
The forced leveling is a nice thought but after a while you realise the more active you are the less targets and reason for activity you will have
Good points. I’ll tweak the market costs quite a bit and start new players off with more credits to begin with.
I think #2 would fix itself with more players being active and leveling. The problem is that #1 and other issues have kept players from playing and thus creating the #1 problem. I
I’ll continue to monitor and make changes for the better. Changing the map and battle system will be my last resort.

I totally agree, the problem is lazy people from S1 that is already used to how S1 works and cant bare starting form 0 on SV2. Besides new players being the base of this getting resurrected…it should be more dynamic at least on the beginning -this will also be gotten with more people playing d’oh-…
Maybe insterting a tutorial? An active chat window for the online people? like being part of the layout of the game?
And new guys could get help easily and maybe catch the game
That will certainly make it more interactive at least
Just using this to report:
-Mines are not working properly.. if you are on the exact coordinates you have to go to Melania->The Mines to get it working… link on the adventure page does not work

[I apologize for the length of this message beforehand xP]
Thank you for taking the time to advertise Twilight Nights (Server 2 :]) as its own game, and for changing the layout x] I can’t wait until it’s fully up and running! I do agree that the battle system should be given a chance, as it is truly what has always made the server different from the others. It may be time consuming, but it’s a challenge that I personally always found more fun than Server 1. :]]
I’m sure most of the problems regarding market activity and leveling will go away once the game picks up again, which should happen with increased advertising.
I would also like to second the idea of the active chat window. It would be beneficial to new players, because they seem to get disconcerted when new player assistants do not immediately reply (for example, if a NPA isn’t online at the time the message is sent or the response is not immediately fulfilling), so they still have their questions of how exactly to play the game and the goal of the game and clans and such, and thus they logout and do not login again because they are confused. An active chat system could greatly reduce the initial confusion, as well as create faster bonds between the players by encouraging more immediate social interaction, which has always been one of the key elements of the game — without the social interaction, the friendly competitiveness is just empty competitiveness and clans don’t receive new members and so on. I’m not sure if it’s even possible to implement, but yeah, if it is, I think it would be a fantastic idea. :]
Thank you D!

D! This is even a good chance of making people spend MANY hours online in your website thus increasing the value of any ad you place over there..Seeing how the game is turn based, and energy refill is rather slow, it is very easy to spend the energy given per hour in little minutes.. so you have to give people something to entertain with before the next hour arrives
