Video Contest Revisited

I've been playing around with this myself and have made an example video using text. I truly think the best option will be narration and will try that after I can dig up a headset with a mic from my World of Warcraft days. I've noticed the optimal FPS for recording is 25 and playback 10 seems a good number. This may vary. I found and have been using some software called HyperCam and it seems to work well. My example below is a quick How To about the Upgrade Character process. Your feedback is welcome. If someone is good at making videos there could be a possible job position as a contributor to the game for doing so in addition to the prizes.

   the only problem is the size. It’s slightly hard to see.. I believe if you used Zoom on your browser you’ll get a better size… Possibly a small screen and a full size screened video? Would be interesting, and would help 100% I think with readability and accessibility. They can see the general layout, but having a close up would most likely be useful Just some thoughts D ^^

   I kinda like that you use to play WoW. But yea.. the video isn’t just boring.. its an awkward kinda silence. So I hope you can find your mic and brush up on some narrative skills.

   Well I was hoping someone would step up to the challenge that is good at narration. I know I’m not, but I’ll give it a go.

   I loved playing WOW…just takes too much time. Had a level 80 druid and mage:)

   I would love to help, but seeing as i’m not technologically minded I do not know how..

   I know how to make use my screenrecorder (copernicus) but i do not know how to put my voice into the video…I got a Mac Os X.

   All you need for Voice is a MIC….you can get one that uses the Pink port on your PC/Mac

   Or the one I have uses USB and works great.
